There are two types of people who come to Explo at Wellesley: people who love doing their thing — and people who are finding the thing they love to do. At Explo, it's your time to do both. So whether you're an expert in algebra, basketball, or ceramics, we'd love to turn you onto something you've always wanted to try, but haven't.
From as close as Boston to as far away as Colombia, Korea, and Morocco, this open community of artists, writers, athletes, musicians, leaders, scientists, activists, dancers, and scholars forms the ideal summer environment for personal exploration, learning, and growth.

Why is a summer at Explo so unique? Because what you do each day is entirely up to you. With more than 80 course offerings (ranging from psychology to video production to abstract art to sports management), you can pursue an interest or try something completely new. With weekend trips to New York City, the Berkshires, Boston, and New England beaches, you’ll see things and have experiences unlike anything you’ve ever done before. And with a student body from more than 40 states and 50 countries, you’ll definitely become friends with people the world over.
Explore Wellesley College
Wellesley College's exceptional facilities set the stage for an incredible summer of exploration. At Explo at Wellesley, you can create culinary masterpieces in its kitchens, argue your case in Wellesley's campus courtroom, and build an entire zombie nation, without ever leaving campus. In addition, you will have access to Wellesley’s athletic facilities, including acres of playing fields, the Wellesley athletic complex, the sailing and boating options on Lake Waban, and acres of woodland paths and trails.
