pioneer courses:
for students entering grades 4 + 5

Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, Pioneer students attend two courses in the morning. 500 level courses meet in the morning from 9:15-10:30am. 600 level courses meet in the morning from 10:45-12:00noon. There is a 15-minute assembly between morning classes.

On the application, Pioneer students select and rank their top 6 preferences for both 500 and 600 level courses. Course size, in most cases, is limited to 14 students. Our registrars attempt to give all students their first choice for courses. However, in the event that a course is filled, students will be assigned the next choice, in the order of interest, on their list of course preferences.
