Musical theater combines storytelling, music, and movement to create something bigger than any one performer. Warm up your voice and body, practice basic vocal techniques, and learn choreography and stage blocking for a musical number. You'll work on memorizing lyrics and movement, discover how performers use the stage to tell a story, and rehearse alongside your castmates. By the end of the week, you'll bring everything together for an ensemble performance.
