EXPLO 360° is all about choices. It’s the perfect way to explore new directions, try out new skills, and maybe even find a new spark that will light your way through high school and beyond. 

Pick any two workshops and any two electives from the groups below to personalize this program for tweens and teens. Dive into old favorites or head toward new horizons. Build an all-engineering schedule or mix it up and pair a business workshop with an arts workshop. You’re in control in EXPLO 360°!

What do you want to experience?

Workshops are collaborative, hands-on, project-based learning experiences that explore topics in a variety of subjects, letting you pursue different interests.  

Electives are more focused and skills-based. (For example, a workshop may cover government simulation; an elective exclusively covers negotiations.)

Business, Math + Economics

Ever wonder how to turn an idea into a successful business? Or how brands use clever marketing techniques to turn audiences into customers? Or how traders hedge risk with cryptocurrency, NFTs, and other novel digital assets? You’ll discover the answers because you’ll get to try your hand at all these things and more.

Engineering, Design + Technology

You could play a fantastic video game—or you could build your own. Or learn how architects create buildings by designing one yourself. Or program a robotic rover to complete a mission on a faraway world. Here, you’ll gain the skills of a maker.

Law, Humanities + World Affairs

Just how do societies work? What laws, leaders, and forces shape nations? You can explore that here in a government simulation. You can hammer out a treaty while exploring international relations and diplomacy. Or maybe you’ll create powerful fictional worlds with their own challenges in a creative writing workshop.

Science, Psychology + Medicine

The only thing as fascinating as the world around us is the world inside us. Use methods of chromatography and hair analysis to examine evidence and draw conclusions about criminal suspects. Investigate marine biology, from ponds to policy. Examine psychological assessments to predict how teams might function as part of a mission to Mars. Practice the same suturing techniques used by surgeons.

Visual, Performing + Culinary Arts

Creativity and self-expression inspire some of the most fun you can have. Perform an unforgettable role onstage. Get your hands dirty working in media from watercolor to sculpture. Or develop your cooking skills by whipping up delicious dishes in the kitchen.

Athletics, Hobbies + Recreation

All your old summer camp favorites? Yeah, we have those too. From athletics like soccer, basketball, and flag football to playing (or even creating) games around a table, your mind and body will get a workout!

This isn't like any other summer camp for middle schoolers

Explo360_Wellesley

You can experience EXPLO 360º as an overnighter or a day student. Either way, you'll live campus life for two weeks at beautiful, historic Wellesley College just outside of Boston. This wooded 500-acre campus boasts extensive academic and recreational facilities, a scenic lakefront, a botanical garden, an art museum, and lively Wellesley Square just outside the gates.

Whether on campus or off,  the opportunities for action and fun are endless. Try out clubs, leagues, and activities, from hip-hop dance to jewelry-making. Get soaked on a weekend trip to a waterpark or stay back on campus for some relaxing yoga. Become a high-roller at Casino Night or just take in a movie in the evening. As always, the choice is yours—see for yourself!
