Event Planning

Plan it. Pitch it. Party. Step into the role of an event planner and turn a big idea into a real experience.

What makes an event unforgettable? Is it the theme, the food, the activities, or all the little details guests never even notice? In Event Planning, you’ll step into the role of an event planner and turn a big idea into a real experience. Start by finding out what your audience actually wants, then use their feedback to shape a concept that balances creativity, logistics, and budget.

Design every part of your event, from the theme and activities to the food, decor, and layout. Along the way, you’ll learn how to manage a budget, make tough tradeoffs, build a timeline, and divide responsibilities across a team. Then, pitch your vision to the Director of Programming, respond to real feedback, and make your final revisions. Finish by helping bring your event to life and seeing what happens when your plans become the real thing.
