Drama + Performance

Discover how actors, directors, designers, and performers work together to create a show.

What does it take to bring a story to life onstage? Through games, scene work, and rehearsals, you’ll experiment with voice, movement, character, and expression while learning how to make bold choices onstage.

Start with ensemble games and theater warm-ups that build focus, trust, and collaboration. Then, create characters from the inside out, developing their backstories, motivations, physicality, and voices through short scenes. Step behind the curtain to explore set, costume, and sound design, as well as blocking and stage directions. Finally, bring everything together in a final performance, rehearsing and performing a series of scenes or a one-act for an audience.
