    About this Elective

    In this elective, focus on learning how to treat any case that comes crashing through the emergency room doors—and begin to understand why it’s important to treat the person as well as their symptoms. Practice life-saving techniques in our skills lab, including intubating, suturing, taking vital signs, and administering first aid and CPR. Participate in a triage simulation combining decision-making tactics with medical responses while building a set of skills that will prepare you to respond quickly and confidently in any emergency.
