    You might build bridges or other structures to explore properties like speed, temperature, and momentum. Or, perhaps you’ll need to fight off invaders with trebuchets and the laws of projectile physics. Maybe you’ll even help some chickens escape a farm on a runaway cart. Engineering design challenges require quick wits and creativity, so whatever the task in front of you, be ready to think on your feet. Note that students are encouraged not to enroll in both the Engineering Challenges elective and the Engineering in Action workshop, as there is significant overlap in projects.
