    Media, politics, and pop culture constantly bombard us with messages around gender that perpetuate a particular status quo. This leaves many people, and their lived experiences, out of the mainstream media. Examine the impacts that gendered products, language, and attitudes have on all of us. Consider how gender plays a role in who holds economic and political power and propose more equitable systems and structures. Take a close look at the impacts of movements such as the Women’s March and the increased visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community. Join us as we reflect on the origin of our own views and discover how you can help untangle the messages of our multifaceted media landscape.
