World Cooking (Percys)

Grab your taste for adventure, a dash of curiosity, and your chef’s hat as you learn cooking techniques from around the world.

About this Workshop

Campus: Regis College | Rising Grades: 4,5

It’s time to travel the world—but you can leave your passport at home. In this workshop, all you need is your taste for adventure, a dash of curiosity, and a chef’s hat. What’s the difference between an empanada and a dumpling? What’s the best way to make pasta from scratch or wrap a wonton? With each technique you master, discover customs and traditions that help make each dish and dining experience unique. You might learn how to hold chopsticks (and proper etiquette for placing them back down), how to order the best dishes in India, or how to prepare everyone’s favorite ANZAC biscuits. When you travel, the best memories you make are of what you experience, what you eat, and what you learn about diverse cultures along the way. In our kitchen, we make sure you discover all three.

Please note: Students with food allergies or sensitivities must contact our Admission Office for more details before enrolling in this workshop. This workshop may not be appropriate for students with specific dietary restrictions.
